My passion and concern for people flourished throughout my youth because of my parents. My parents' adoption of a baby with medical needs inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare. I wore many hats in the hospital for almost eight years after graduating with my RN at St. Luke’s School of Nursing. Eventually, I got my BSN and my Master’s in Nursing in 2008 from Briar Cliff. I specialized in infectious disease, neurology, and neurosurgery before transitioning to community health care with HIV specialist certification in 2016. As time passed, my parents were diagnosed with cancer, from which my father passed away in 2013. I knew I had to better the community and my education during 2020 when the world shut down. I got my Doctorate from Morningside University in June 2021. I saw a need in the community for esthetician help after helping a transgender patient in 2022. I took classes and got certified to help the community. There are many avenues of being a healthcare provider and aesthetics is one that I did not think I would do, but here I am.
